General Statement

Field Manager, reports to the Client Services Manager and is responsible for supporting, mentoring, and supervising our security officers in the field. They ensure the highest level of customer service and safety for our staff is achieved in the field. The Field Manager is responsible for managing the company's field operations and resources and after business hours. As such, a Field Manager must exercise a very high level of initiative and possess above average problem-solving skills.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all of our staff in the field understand the site orders and are fulfilling our obligations to our clients relative to Covid - 19
  • Assist the Client Service Manager (CSM) by taking ownership of staff and client issues
  • Assist the CSM with the monitoring of Daily reports and Incident Reports and take appropriate action as instructed by the CSM
  • Making accurate reports and memos regarding all incidents
  • Complete site inspections
  • Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • 2-way radio use requiring the utmost discretion
  • Assists with scheduling for short notice/after hour shift coverage
  • Work closely with the Site Supervisors dedicated to Covid 19and ensure all issues are handled in a timely manner
  • Discipline any and all staff who are not adhering to dress code policies and company procedures
  • Minimum of one year of supervisor experience (mandatory)
  • In some circumstances the Field Manager maybe required to stand post
    Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and own a personal vehicle
  • Proof of a clean drivers abstract going back a minimum of five years
  • Communicate back to CSM/Branch Manager any issues or concerns that are brought to their attention by S/O and/or S/S Able to pass a criminal record search
  • Previous supervisory/management experience
  • Computer literate with intermediate functionality in Microsoft Office software
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records Strong ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Ability to handle private and information with a high amount of discretion
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Basic knowledge of security procedures, handling violent behaviors, and nondefensive communication
  • Self-starter who works well under pressure
