Job Description

We're looking for a technical Product Manager to work on platform wide shared services. You will work on projects that improve the capabilities for all our applications, which ultimately serves as the foundation of the Pixieset platform.

Product Management at Pixieset is a hands-on role that wears many hats from roadmap planning to product design to project execution. You will work closely with engineering, design, other product managers and our product-focused CEO to decide what products we build, why we build them and how we build them. You will be the glue that unites all aspects of the product under a single vision. You will be the person that takes projects to the finish line at all costs, and help us launch products that impacts 600,000+ photographers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define and manage short and long-term roadmap for new features and improvements
  • Create detailed requirements and specifications for various project stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with our engineers and product owners to deliver new product features from conception to launch
  • Plan, organize and manage the sprint process to ensure successful project delivery
  • Work with designers to deliver wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
  • Analyze competitors to stay on top of the industry and market trends
  • Envision and deliver a winning product experience

    Qualifications

    Love creating awesome products? Excited about making an impact and delighting real users? You will be wearing multiple hats and acting as the quarterback for driving our products forward. You should be a highly motivated and creative individual who is ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done.

    Ideally you are/have:

    • Demonstrated significant experience as a Product Manager shipping web based software
    • Technical background or a strong familiarity with software engineering - degree in Computer Science / Engineering preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to clearly communicate objective and requirements
    • Experience working with engineers and designers in agile environments
    • Ready to be extremely hands on in all aspect of product development
    • Have a keen product intuition and design sense
    • Possess great leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships with multiple parties

    Additional Information

    The Pixieset team is currently working remotely due to provincial guidelines surrounding COVID-19. We will continue to evaluate the possibility of going back to in-office work in the coming months.
