Job Description:
The Senior Analyst, Business Management is central to how performance, insights, and data governance shape leadership decisions at TDIAC. The role merges operational reporting excellence with advanced analytics and strategic storytelling. This individual will develop, refine, and automate executive-level reporting, build enterprise dashboards, integrate multi-source data, and contribute to data governance practices across the Advice Centres. The senior analyst will work closely with senior leaders, providing accurate insights, clear narratives, and analysis that drive alignment and strategic action.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly capable, self-directed Senior Analyst who blends analytical depth with strong storytelling and technical mastery. This individual must excel in performance reporting, executive-level presentations, contact-centre analytics, and data-driven narrative creation. They will be equally comfortable building enterprise-grade dashboards (Power BI/PowerQuery), managing sensitive data from multiple sources including Rahona, and operating with precision in ambiguous, time-sensitive environments. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional judgment, strong communication skills, and the dexterity to support both operational reporting cycles and strategic insight development while engaging confidently with senior leaders across TD Insurance and NACO.
About the Team
The Reporting & Insights Team sits within the Business Management Group for TDIAC, and our mandate is to elevate performance visibility, insights, and data driven decision-making across the Advice Centres.
We:
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual executive reporting across contact centre and market performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on trends, behaviours, and operational drivers to support strategic decisions.
• Build and deliver compelling performance stories that inform senior executives on what is happening and why.
• Lead and curate best-in-class industry research and benchmarks for contact centre excellence.
• Uphold rigorous standards for data integrity, sensitivity, and governance across all reporting environments.
Key Accountabilities
Customer
• Deliver best-in-class reporting and insight packages, including executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and narratives that simplify complex contact centre data.
• Conduct deep-dive trend analysis to identify performance drivers and provide actionable recommendations.
• Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Rahona, BI platforms, operational datasets - largely manual sources) with a strong commitment to data integrity and confidentiality.
• Strengthen governance for critical data sources, ensuring accuracy, lineage, and controlled access.
• Advance automation, standardization, and scalability of reporting processes.
Shareholder
• Develop high-impact reporting, analytics, and assessments at both functional and enterprise levels.
• Build and maintain a centralized analytics and BI environment using Power BI, PowerQuery, and Microsoft 365.
• Identify and analyze performance variances, emerging trends, and cross-market patterns.
• Implement and maintain data governance and internal controls aligned to enterprise policies.
• Support enterprise initiatives through expert analysis, impact assessments, and evidence-based recommendations.
Employee / Team
• Function as a senior technical and analytical resource within the Business Management team.
• Share knowledge, tools, and best practices that elevate reporting and data capability across the group.
• Maintain a positive, high-performance team culture centered on quality, accuracy, and collaboration.
• Work autonomously while supporting broader team objectives and recurring reporting cycles.
• Continuously develop technical, analytical, and business acumen in a rapidly evolving environment.
Breadth & Depth
• Operates independently with end-to-end ownership of complex reporting and analytics workflows.
• Acts as the team's SME for dashboarding, multi-source data integration, and structured reporting.
• Trusted advisor to senior leadership-distilling complex insights into clear, decision-ready narratives.
• Manages both recurring operational cycles and ad hoc strategic analysis with precision and urgency.
• Navigates fast-paced contact centre and insurance environments with strong familiarity of key performance drivers.
Experience & Skills
• 3-5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business management, or contact centre performance within Financial Services or Insurance.
• Demonstrate technical aptitude with complex data - evidenced through a technical degree (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer/Data/Actuarial Science etc.) or equivalent master
• Expert capability in Power BI, PowerQuery, Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise reporting tools
• Proven ability to craft clear, concise, executive-level narratives and senior presentation materials.
• Strong understanding of contact centre metrics, operational performance, and customer/agent dynamics.
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.
• Highly dependable with the ability to manage sensitive, confidential data with discretion.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
