About our Client

Our client, an innovative company that helps customize educational websites, is looking for a Sharepoint Sustainment Engineer to join their team. This position is a work from home position with work hours of 5 hours per week (20 hours per month). Pay rate for this position is between $50-$80 per hour.   • Provide SharePoint and technical support to customers
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly and report back to customers
  • Train customers on any issues that they can resolve on their own in the future
  • Train internal tier 1 support staff any issues that they can resolve in the future
  • Proactively resolve customer server issues
  • Coordinate with customers on down time and apply SharePoint cumulative updates
  • Deploy solution updates to all customer servers


  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2013, 2016, and 2019 features
  • Web front end knowledge including HTML, Javascript, and CSS
  • Can maintain and troubleshoot typical issues with on-premise SharePoint farms
  • Can write and update PowerShell scripts to deploy or retract WSPs
  • Bulk update configuration or user content
  • Generate bespoke reports based on customer requirements
  • Can execute full SharePoint farm implementation including Office Online server and ADFS as well as run cumulative updates
  • Working knowledge of creating InfoPath forms and integrating to SharePoint lists
  • Working knowledge of code repository systems such as SVN or git
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be located in Canada
