Job Description:

Purpose of the Role

TD Wealth Advice, comprised of TD Wealth Financial Planning and TD Wealth Private Wealth Management (PWM), is committed to delivering legendary client experiences to Mass Affluent, High Net Worth, and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

This is achieved through an integrated team of professional advisors across Financial Planning, Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, TD Family Office, Private Banking, Private Trust, Wealth Insurance, and Wealth Advisory Services.

As a member of the Wealth Advice Marketing Strategy Team, the Associate Marketing Manager - Content, MarketMe & Advisor Marketing reports to the Senior Group Manager. The incumbent will work closely with Marketing Managers, Associate Marketing Managers, Marketing Associates, and key partners across TD Wealth Advice.

The primary objective of this role is to develop, manage, and execute marketing strategies, content, and enablement tools that empower advisors to effectively market their businesses across traditional and digital channels. This includes overseeing content marketing initiatives, managing the MarketMe platform, and providing consultative marketing support to field professionals to drive adoption, education, and business growth.

Accountabilities

Content Marketing and Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy to support advisors and leaders across the Wealth Advice businesses through a multi-channel approach.
  • Educate field professionals on the role of content marketing in building a strong digital presence, enhancing brand awareness, and maintaining engagement with clients, prospects, and centers of influence.
  • Create and edit long-form marketing content, including thought leadership pieces and advisor-facing communications, in alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal content development teams to produce high-quality materials that support business priorities and enhance client engagement.
  • Manage advisor-facing newsletters and related client communications to nurture existing relationships and promote TD Wealth insights.
  • Analyze key metrics and performance indicators to measure effectiveness and inform future marketing initiatives.
  • Stay informed on emerging marketing technologies, trends, and best practices that can enhance advisor marketing efforts.

MarketMe Platform and Digital Enablement
  • Oversee the management and evolution of the MarketMe platform to ensure all content is current, compliant, and aligned with TD Wealth brand standards.
  • Develop and maintain the creative marketing assets roadmap in coordination with TD Brand, Wealth Shared Services, and external vendors.
  • Establish and manage vendor relationships and conduct regular maintenance meetings to ensure the performance and reliability of marketing platforms and tools.
  • Maintain comprehensive governance and compliance records for all advisor-facing materials, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead advisor education and enablement initiatives related to the use of MarketMe and other marketing platforms, emphasizing best practices and effective content utilization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for platform enhancements and pilot new digital marketing capabilities.

Team Collaboration and Support
  • Provide consultative marketing support to advisors across TD Wealth Advice, assisting them in developing and executing personalized marketing strategies to grow their practices.
  • Lead the development and execution of advisor-level marketing campaigns and templates that align with the TD Wealth brand and value proposition.
  • Partner with advisors to create compliant marketing strategies leveraging social media, email, and digital advertising to support client acquisition and engagement.
  • Support the implementation of pilot programs that test and scale new marketing tools, content, or approaches across the advisor network.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Governance partners to ensure all marketing initiatives meet regulatory and brand standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on advisor marketing tools, content strategy, and digital enablement.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing insights, best practices, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to develop and edit compelling marketing content.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing or communications, including content marketing, social media, or digital marketing.
  • Ability to translate complex marketing strategies and internal policies into actionable guidance for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent consulting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Sound understanding of digital marketing analytics, SEO, and performance measurement.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and adaptable professional with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with TD Wealth businesses, financial planning, or wealth management is an asset.
  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certification/designation required.
