DEPARTMENT: Health Records

BARGAINING UNIT: CUPE

JOB TYPE: Casual

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY: Maintains health records in accordance with departmental, regional and legislative requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED), plus an additional administrative support program or course from six months to one year in length, or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel;
  • Know of other software programs currently used within the Network;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
  • The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.
