Magic Potion Games is seeking anIntermediate 3D Artist to contribute their talents to our soon to be launched Imagine Island , a playful virtual world designed for kids . This is an intermediate role where you'll take pride in owning your work and delivering high-quality assets, while being guided and supported by a strong team of experienced leads. You'll work independently day to day, but always as part of a collaborative team that values clear communication, shared problem-solving, and creative contribution.

Responsibilities
- • Create high-quality 3D assets, environments, and props that capture the playful, stylized aesthetic of Imagine Island.
- • Take ownership of your production pipeline by prioritizing tasks, tracking your progress, and delivering assets on time.
- • Collaborate closely with the dev team to ensure assets integrate seamlessly into the game engine.
- • Optimize models and textures for performance and memory while maintaining visual quality.
- • Contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling and the overall player experience.
- • Develop and refine best practices and guidelines for asset creation as the content library continues to expand.
Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional experience in 3D asset creation for games.
- • Experience working with Unity.
- • Proficiency with industry tools such as Maya, Marmoset, and Photoshop.
- • Strong understanding of low-poly modelling, UVs, and texture baking.
- • Ability to manage your own workload, set priorities, and stay organized in a remote environment.
- • Strong time management skills, with a track record of delivering quality work on schedule.
- • Ability to adapt to feedback quickly and iterate effectively.
- • Proficient in utilizing collaboration and project management tools, including Jira, Slack, and other industry-standard software.
•You must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
