Job Description:

Department Overview

The Fixed Income Electronic Trading group is responsible for delivering solutions across Pricing, Trading, Risk Management, Execution/STP, Electronic Trading, and Sales for Credit and Rates globally.
The Fixed income eTrading team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to assume the position of Senior Business Systems Analyst. The responsibility includes a complex and intricate business and technology environment with multiple stakeholders and large-scale deliverables while working to tight timelines. The role oversees all system enhancements, large scale project deliverables, and support of our existing eTrading applications.

About This Role

We are looking for someone to plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align to standards and frameworks. The role requires for the candidate to provide technical leadership and collaborate with business and technology partners, project teams and data consumers to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and managed functional specifications.

Business Analysis

• Provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical / functional specifications in alignment with standards and framework
• Work in close partnership with business partners / technology / project teams and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications
• Develop effective and efficient solutions by researching/analyzing current state system capabilities and defining technology solutions options / recommendations working closely with key technology partners
• Ability to write and execute test plans in DEV and PAT and carry out all necessary tasks required to implement any system change
• Ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and presentation materials to support the decision making of executives
• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or tea
• Respect existing processes and standards including requirements management and project management disciplines, technology delivery and business technology architecture, escalating issues as needed.
• Gain knowledge in own area, stay abreast of technology trends and developments, develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques, business domains and their products and services.
• Coach new or less experienced colleagues and serve as a reference point throughout requirements management life cycle.

L3 Support

• Independently investigate and resolve support issues with vendo
• Resolve any complex issues that cannot be resolved by first-line support
• Supporting various legacy system retirements

Miscellaneous

• Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines

Job Requirements

• We are looking for a self-starter, who is not afraid to dive into unknown problems and find out-of-the-box solutions. Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge is as likely to get our attention. It will help if you have:
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience
• 8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis role
• In depth knowledge of Capital Market is a plus
• Knowledge of Trading Life Cycle, Pricing, Pnl is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Strong hands-on software development business system analysis experience, translating business requirements into product driven systems specification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent Microsoft Office tools knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills to explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and SQL query writing and relational databases.
• Python or other EUC programming language is a benefit
• Able to manage numerous high priority projects concurrently
• Comfortable and adapt quickly to changing priorities and ad-hoc requests.
• Highly motivated with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Experience with applications such as Bloomberg and other Fixed Income market data and trade processing systems is a plus
• Able to think critically, beyond the status quo, and provide innovative/creative solutions to existing problems.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task effectively and independently within a fast-paced environment.
