This role blends business analysis, product thinking, and technical understanding. The ideal candidate brings a grounded IT background, excels at bridging business needs with technology solutions, and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Key Responsibilities
Product & Business Analysis
• Partner closely with Product Managers to define product requirements, scope features, and refine business cases.
• Break down complex workflows into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
• Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments across systems and teams.
• Help articulate the "why" behind the product-ensuring features are aligned to customer value, operational realities, and strategic priorities.
• Participate in product roadmap discussions, backlog prioritization, and release planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as a liaison across product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate requirement walkthroughs, grooming sessions, and design discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Translate business needs into technical concepts for engineering teams, and technical constraints into business language for stakeholders.
• Support change management efforts and help business units prepare for new features or system updates.
Technical & Systems Understanding
• Leverage an IT background to evaluate system dependencies, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Work with Solution Architects / Engineering to ensure system designs meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review technical documentation, sequence diagrams, and workflows to validate alignment with requirements.
• Support testing phases (UAT, regression, integration) by preparing test scenarios and validating outcomes against acceptance criteria.
Customer Focus & Product Thinking
• Apply a strong customer-obsession mindset (Amazon-style) to ensure solutions solve real customer problems.
• Use data-driven decision-making to validate problem statements, measure success, and inform product improvements.
• Advocate for usability, simplicity, and operational excellence in all solutions.
EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION
Required
• 5-10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or hybrid BSA/PM role.

• Experience contributing to or managing product roadmaps, MVP definition, and iterative product development.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce, digital customer experiences, or large-scale platform operations.
• Hands-on exposure to modern tooling (Jira, Confluence, Figma, API testing tools, SQL or data querying).
• Experience supporting large system integrations or distributed systems.
Key Competencies

• Analytical thinking & structured problem-solving
• Strong documentation and communication
• Ownership & bias for action
• Attention to detail
