TD Enterprise Finance is responsible for developing and delivering financial strategy along with information and management support on an enterprise-wide basis for TD Bank Group (TD), consistent with the enterprise risk appetite of TD.
In other words, we're the big-picture people. Our mandate encompasses all the components that keep the entire enterprise moving forward. We look after financial management and regulatory reporting, enterprise strategy and decision support (including financial analysis, planning and forecasting plus performance management). Our team also supports taxation, investor relations, financial control and governance along with the implementation of finance systems and processes.

About The Program
The Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Pre-Approved Associate Program - Finance / Accounting Stream is an immersive 30-month program designed to help you step into our world of Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting. The goal of the program is to develop a leadership pipeline for individuals committed to pursuing a career in Finance or Accounting.
We're looking for individuals who have a curiosity for data analysis, an appreciation for the rigors of reporting and forecasting with the tenacity to ensure accuracy and quality. If you have a sharp analytical mind coupled with excellent communication skills and a tendency to question the status quo and find the best path forward, we want you to be part of our rotational program.
In this program you'll rotate* across multiple Finance functions in order to develop CPA competencies and expand your network, while being mentored by senior leaders and gaining a comprehensive understanding of Finance at TD.
*The program consists of 3 x 10-month rotations in:
• Segment Finance (2 rotations total): Gain exposure to the world of financial reporting and analysis including: Management Reporting, Plan & Forecast to develop deep SME knowledge. Work closely with business partners to help evaluate business proposals, identify drivers of growth and advise on strategic decision-making.
• Specialized Finance: Work with Specialized Finance teams like Investor Relations, Chief Accountant's, Enterprise Decision Support or Enterprise Strategy for a birds-eye-view of Finance at TD.
Our CPA Pre-Approved Associates also receive:
• Full coverage of exam and module fees related to the CPA PEP program
• External training in preparation for the Common Final Examination (CFE)

• Evaluate Financial results (internal and external) against various KPIs, produce regular analytics for senior leadership and business partners on financial performance
• Identify drivers of change, evaluate risks and impact of different initiatives and provide recommendations to business partners
• Define opportunities for continued enhancements to business processes and make recommendations within assigned area(s) of responsibility
Experience Growth:
• Get regular feedback and support from the CPA Program Manager and CPA Mentors
• Receive performance assessment and coaching for each rotation
• Receive CPA-related training in addition to on-the-job experience
• Multitask and prioritize competing deadlines and project considerations
• Show initiative and interest in self-development and learning through rotations
Cultivate our Culture of Care:
• Build a wide network between Finance, accounting, Business and Audit teams
• Interact with other CPA Associates to share learnings and network within the organization (including Associates in the Audit stream and Associates outside of Finance)
• Participate in specialized programming
• Structured training & workshops to develop core competencies

Educational Requirements
• Undergraduate degree with all required courses for admission into CPA PEP program prior to the program start date in September 2026
• Meets CPA PEP entry grade requirements, as outlined by CPA Ontario (see CPA Ontario website)
• Top quartile standing from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Diverse range of leadership activities, such as student club involvement, financial case competitions, or community involvement
