Job Description:
The role exists to provide strategic oversight and governance for delivery execution across the Business Banking portfolio, ensuring adherence to the Delivery Execution Framework (DEF) and related standards, including monitoring controls and data quality, leading Delivery Risk Reporting (DRR), managing exceptions, and leading audit and regulatory requirement activities. The Sr. Business Management Analyst of Governance & Oversight acts as the primary delivery governance authority within Business Banking Portfolio Management and Governance team, driving DEF compliance, and continuous improvement in partnership with delivery teams, Enterprise Delivery Excellence, peers, Journeys and executive stakeholders.

Job Description:

The Sr. Business Management Analyst of Governance & Oversight acts as the primary delivery governance authority within Business Banking Portfolio Management and Governance team, driving DEF compliance, and continuous improvement in partnership with delivery teams, Enterprise Delivery Excellence, peers, Journeys and executive stakeholders.
- Act as a lead and a SME for the Delivery Execution Framework.
- Oversee adherence to the DEF and associated Standards.
- Accountable for defining and maintaining internal processes and tools (e.g. Assistive Package(s)) supporting the mandate of this role
- Conduct quarterly evaluations of delivery team's adherence to DEF and documenting and tracking results.
- Lead Delivery Risk Reporting (DRR) by reviewing Insights dashboards, coordinating commentary from delivery teams, and producing ad-hoc reporting for Segment Executives and delivery teams as required
- Lead the monitoring of dashboards for data completeness and quality, ensuring delivery teams operate within defined thresholds and escalating and tracking issues as needed.
- Facilitate and obtain decisions on exception requests, ensuring eligibility, proper documentation, and communication of decisions and action items.
- Act as the primary liaison for Internal Audit and Regulatory Exams, providing walkthroughs, evidence, and leading remediation of findings.
- Support BB Journeys during delivery team audits and regulatory exams.
- Drive remediation plans for governance-related audit findings and regulatory issues.
- Own preparation of all required content and evidence to support the Segment Senior Leader's (AVP+) quarterly attestation of adherence to the PMaG mandate and accountabilities.
- Champion data quality and reporting standards, influencing continuous improvement across the portfolio.
- Represent governance in executive forums and cross-functional forums.
- Provide subject matter expertise on best practices to delivery teams
- Provide training and guidance to junior Analysts
Metrics for Success:
- Timely and accurate completion of governance evaluations and reporting.
- Effective remediation of audit and regulatory findings.
- High data quality and dashboard accuracy.
- Timely processing and documentation of exception requests.
- Quality and timeliness of Delivery Risk Reporting and ad-hoc reports.
- Positive feedback from enterprise/segment partners, executives and audit stakeholders.
Collaboration Expectations:
- Partner with delivery teams, EDG, and other segment governance peers.
- Present to and liaise with AVP+ audiences.
